POSITION SUMMARY:
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency that focuses on issues critical to the region’s success, including growth and development, transportation, water resources, services for older adults and workforce solutions. ARC is dedicated to unifying the region’s collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future. This is done through professional planning initiatives, the provision of objective information and the involvement of the community in collaborative partnerships.
The ARC Transportation Access and Mobility Group is seeking part-time, temporary support for data visualization, data analysis, and modeling project and program needs within the Center of Livable Communities.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Transportation Access and Mobility Division’s (TAMD) Performance Analysis and Monitoring section. This individual will perform a variety of assignments related to transportation system performance analysis and research of new tools and data for transportation analysis.
This position requires strong technical and research skills, with the preferred candidate being knowledgeable with data analysis, visualization, and computer coding skills.
This temporary position is not eligible for benefits; working up to 29 hours per week for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
